We seek to represent Manufacturers of high quality products with excellent reputations in the industry.     REPS Inc. sells value added products to an established customer base while continuing to develop new relationships and new beginnings whenever possible.   Although we recognize that price is always a factor, we emphasize value, performance, and the advantages that selecting the premium quality manufacturer’s product will deliver.   We have been very successful with this approach.    Annual total sales for the company have been in the 4-5 million dollar range for recent years.   We continue to work for increased sales and have active plans to add sales personnel.

 
     

 

Our customers are primarily in the chemical, petrochemical, refining, semiconductor, metals, water, pulp and paper, medical, municipal, governmental, and related industries.  We also have long term relationships with the major engineers and contractors who serve these industries.  A major portion of our efforts are to help write project specifications inclusive of our products at engineering offices.

 

     

 

Depending on the marketing plan of the principal being represented, our professional selling efforts may or may not include distributors within the marketing channel. In those cases where distributors are a part of the “channel”, we spend much of our time training and developing the distributor sales personnel, planning and implementing joint sales calls, and assisting them with follow-up and closing techniques. Several of our principals choose not to utilize distributors. Consequently, much of our financial and human resources are allocated to inventory management, engineering specifications and developing relationships within purchasing departments.

 

     

 

Several aspects of business that are particularly important to REPS Inc. will be noted here.  We share our customer contact information openly with the manufacturer, in the belief that our relationship will be long-lasting and deserving of trust.  In return, we expect the manufacturer to include REPS Inc. in the communication model at every opportunity.  Our job is liaison with the customer, regardless of the direction of information flow.  We work just as hard at resolving a problem as we do chasing a sales lead. We expect the principal’s information management system to include and notify us of all communications between them and our customers. Communication has been the bedrock of our organization!

 

     

 

Through our many years of customer contact in this area, REPS Inc. has developed excellent relationships with most of the senior level individuals at the corporate centers.   These relationships assist us in product specification, gaining acceptance at the plant level, and understanding exactly who the influencers and decision makers will be for each product.  One of our first efforts will be to introduce your products to these contacts.   We hope your personnel will be available for such sales calls and seminars.
